Compared to last week, feeder steers were mostly 4.00-8.00 lower with instances up to 10.00 lower; heifers mostly 3.00-7.00 lower. Most notable demand was for groups of preconditioned feeder cattle weaned a minimum of 30 days. Slaughter cows were mostly 2.00-3.00 lower, and slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 lower on a limited test. Unseasonably warm temperatures were present throughout the region this reporting period as fall quickly approaches.
