Huntingdon - Compared t the same sale two weeks ago, Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Feeders not well established. Quality poor to average. Demand moderate.

Knoxville - Compared to last week, feeder steers measuring 6.00 lower overall, with feeder heifers 3.00 lower, and feeder bulls sharply lower overall. Lower prices on feeder classes due, in part, to decreased buyer participation. Regarding slaughter classes- breaker and lean cows mostly steady, with boning cows 6.00 higher, and bulls 1.00 higher. Today's offerings included the following load lot: 1 load ML 1-2 preconditioned Steers, 519 lb., $279.75, medium flesh, mixed colors.

Fayetteville - Compared to last week, Feeder steers 5.00-10.00 higher with instances sharply higher. Feeder heifers weighing under 450lbs were sharply higher; feeder heifers over 450lbs mostly steady-4.00 lower. Demand moderate to good for feeder steers and heifers, with buyer showing less interest in bull calves due to the hot weather. Slaughter cows were mostly steady-5.00 higher. No comparison on slaughter bulls due to a limited test from last week, but a steady undertone was noted.
