Dickson - Compared to last week, feeder steers under 550 lbs were unevenly steady with some instances of 2.00 higher to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers over 550 lbs were mostly 5.00-7.00 higher with the heaviest test on steers weighing 550-700 lbs. Feeder heifers 550 lbs and under were unevenly steady with instances of 2.00-3.00 higher to 2.00-3.00 lower, and heifers over 550 lbs were mostly steady to 3.00 higher. Quality was mostly good and buyers showed the best interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned cattle. Offerings were heavy again this week despite the colder temperatures and significant rain throughout the region forecasted through the week, but the moisture is a welcome sight to producers. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 2.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were mostly steady with moderate demand for slaughter classes.

Unionville - Compared to last week, Feeder Steers steady to 3.00 higher; Feeder Bulls 3.00-8.00 lower; Feeder Heifers under 600 lbs. steady to 5.00 lower, over 600 lbs. steady to 4.00 higher; Slaughter Cows 3.00-6.00 lower; Slaughter Bulls 2.00-4.00 lower.
