Slaughter bulls 2.00 higher. This week, receipts were lighter as some sale barns closed for the 4th of July holiday. Hot and dry weather has settled across the state as summertime conditions have arrived. CME futures closed lower today as live cattle, August contract, closed at 239.22, well below the negotiated cash trade of 255.00.
