Compared to last week: Feeder steers 2.00-6.00 higher. Steer calves steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers and heifer calves steady to 5.00 higher. Demand good. Slaughter cows 4.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 1.00 higher. The stock market closed down 4% yesterday and is down another 2% today in early trading. CME feeder cattle have followed suit and closed sharply lower yesterday and opened dollars lower again today. Widespread rain fell across much of Oklahoma yesterday and today, helping to ease drought conditions.
