Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 5 auctions: Ada, Apache, McAlester, OKC West, and Woodward. Feeder steers sold steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 4.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves not well tested on light receipts this week due to the Labor Day holiday. Demand moderate to good for all classes. Combined weighted average for 4 Slaughter/Replacement auctions reported: Ada, Apache, McAlester, and Woodward. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00 higher on a light test. A cold front moved across the state this week bringing rain and cool fall temperatures. Warmer temperatures are expected for next week.
