For NASS: 714 cows and bulls sold with 67 percent going to packers; Last week: 2,560 with 73 percent going to packers; Last year: 743 with 50 percent going to packers.

Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 4 auctions: Ada, Apache, OKC West, and Woodward. Feeder steers sold mostly 2.00-7.00 higher. Feeder heifers 2.00-5.00 higher. Demand good for all classes. Steer calves not well tested on a light test and heifer calves not well tested, but instances of 6.00-9.00 higher. Cattle movement was lighter this week due to the Memorial Day holiday. Many areas of the trade region experienced heavy rains and thunderstorms throughout the week. Slaughter cows 3.00-4.00 higher on very light receipts. Slaughter bulls sold steady. Demand moderate to good.
