Compared to last week: Feeder steers began the week lower but by mid-week sold steady to 5.00 higher, heavier weights 1.00 lower. Feeder heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher, heavier weights 2.00 lower. Demand moderate to good. Demand very good for calves, especially lighter weights. Steer calves 2.00-7.00 higher, up to 12.00 higher on lighter weights. Heifer calves mostly steady to 6.00 higher. Receipts light again as another front moved across the state, dumping snow in the northwest and heavy rains in the South East. Conditions are very muddy in many areas and this is limiting livestock movement. Slaughter cows 1.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-6.00 higher. Demand very good for the limited receipts. A total of 1,180 cows and bulls sold with 55 percent going to packers. *Please note: The cows reported with no weights were sold at a Special Sale last Saturday at the Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction.*
