Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 7 feeder auctions: Ada, Apache, McAlester, Oklahoma City, OKC West, Tulsa, and

Woodward. Feeder steers 600-700 lbs. sold steady to 4.00 higher, heavier weights steady to 4.00 lower. Feeder heifers mostly 1.00-3.00

lower. Steer calves steady to 6.00 higher and heifer calves steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good for feeder cattle and calves. Many auctions experienced large runs this week, as they re-opened for the new year. Many parts of the state are expected to receive moisture this weekend in the form of rain or snow over the weekend. Slaughter cows sold steady to 11.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-6.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good for cows and bulls.
