Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 7 auctions: Ada, Apache, McAlester, Oklahoma City, OKC West, Tulsa and

Woodward. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 2.00 lower. Early week calf markets were effected by Monday's cold front. Steer

calves sold steady to 4.00 lower. Heifer calves traded 2.00-9.00 lower. Later week markets improved as did the weather. Steer calves sold

3.00- 11.00 higher and heifer calves 3.00-8.00 higher, few instances of steady was noted. Slaughter cows improved as number declined

some. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 higher. Demand good for cows; moderate for replacement cows. The

special sale from Apache and Woodward is included. Apache sale all cows sold by the head and cattle were not weighed.
