*For Nass* 2,872 cows and bulls sold this week with 57 percent going to packers. Last week: 2,906 cows and bulls sold with 63 percent going to packers. Last year: 1,296 cows and bulls sold with 59 percent going to packers.

Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 7 auctions: Ada, Apache, McAlester, Oklahoma City, OKC West, Tulsa and Woodward. Feeder steers sold mostly steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 higher. Demand moderate to good for feeder cattle. Calves lightly tested. Steer calves sold steady to 4.00 higher and heifer calves steady to 2.00 higher. Demand for calves heavily relying on days weaned and shots, as we move into the sudden temperatures changes that occur during this time of year. Cold temperatures have moved into the state this week bringing a chance of an early freeze this weekend. Temperatures should remain fall-like moving into next week. Slaughter cows mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls steady to 2.00 higher.
