Compared to last week: Steer calves under 550 lbs. mixed, mostly 3.00-6.00 higher, instances 4.00 lower, 550-650 lbs. 3.00-7.00 higher on good demand for those weights suitable for going back to graze-out wheat programs. Feeder steers over 650 lbs. mixed, 4.00 higher to 5.00 lower following the sharp decline in the CME markets. Heifer calves under 550 lbs. mixed, 1.00-2.00 higher to 2.00-5.00 lower later in the week. Those 550-650 lbs. steady to 2.00 higher. Feeders over 650 lbs. 3.00-8.00 lower with the most decline on those over 750 lbs. Slaughter cows and bulls 1.00-2.00 lower on comparable quotes. Trade moderate to active, demand moderate to good.
