Compared to last week steers less than 700 lbs sold 2.00 to 8.00 higher; 700 to 900 lbs sold 4.00 to 10.00 lower, and over 900 lbs sold 10.00 higher on a thin test. Heifers sold steady to 10.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good for calves and feeders. Mostly very good demand for bred heifers and cows across that state. Some new, all-time highs in the bred cow market this week as some top quality, high producing cows made their way to town as some ranchers have decided to retire. Commercial, solid mouth cows (5-8 yrs old) with the auctioneer dropping the gavel at 5700.00 per head. Feedlots held firm on asking prices and held out for a higher market on Friday. Dressed sales sold 5.00 higher at 370.00 and live sales sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher from 234.00 to 236.00.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
