Compared to last week steers under 700 lbs sold 3.00 to 10.00 lower, over 700 lbs sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Heifers under 700 lbs sold steady to 3.00 higher and over 700 lbs sold steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good for all offerings. Blizzard conditions west and north of North Platte made auctions cancel sales or they rescheduled to Saturday and next week. At the reporting auctions not as many buyers as normal with some internet buying was noticed. Market backed off the grass type cattle a tick and bigger yearling weight calves were sought after. Feedlot trade live sales sold 1.00 lower from 155.00 to 157.00 and dressed sales sold 1.00 higher at 248.00. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
