Compared to last week fly-weight steers sold 8.00 higher, 500 to 700 lbs sold unevenly steady with yearling cattle steady to 4.00 lower. Heifer calves under 500 lbs sold 2.00 higher, over 500 to 700 lbs sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower with yearlings steady to 4.00 lower on a light test. Demand was light to good for calves with mostly good demand for yearlings. Buyers were a tick picky on some calves on the quality, color, vaccination protocol and flesh condition. For yearlings, all buyers cared about was ownership throwing out flesh, fill and just holding their card up till it filled their buy orders. Area cash feedlot trade was up 1.00 to 3.00 on the week from 128.00-130.00 for live sales. Dressed sales 4.00 higher at 204.00.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
