Compared to last week steers under 500 lbs sold 3.00 higher on a light test, over 500 lbs mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Heifers sold unevenly steady. Demand was moderate to good. Nebraska feedlots sold dressed sales 2.00 to 3.00 higher at 163.00 and live sales 2.00 higher at 103.00. Silage chopping continues with high moisture corn harvest right around the corner. Few, dry land soybeans have been cut. Most hay producers are still cutting and baling fall forages, alfalfa and grass hay.
