Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 700 lbs 5.00 to 8.00, over 700 lbs steady to 4.00 higher, heifers steady to 5.00 higher. Very good demand for steers and heifers this week, Feeder Cattle futures were lower but Live Cattle made gains. The market is very active, but the most activity remains on those cattle suitable for summer grazing. Winter weather this week caused some market cancellations. Larger receipts expected next week.
