Compared to last week, steers under 550 lbs sold 6.00 to 8.00 higher; 550-700 lbs uneven, 3.00 lower to 3.00 higher; over 700 lbs 8.00 to 10.00 higher. Heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher. Demand was mostly good to very good, with only moderate demand on less attractive groups of cattle. Several replacement quality heifers sold in the mix this week and some new buyers showed up at the local markets looking for calves to go out on summer pasture.
