Compared to last week: Steer calves 2.00 to 4.00 higher, heifer calves under 550 lbs steady to 1.00 higher, over 550 lbs 3.00 lower. Good demand for all weights of steer and heifer calves this week. As cash fed cattle topped at 135.00 and the CME Live Cattle contracts being at a level that is much higher than last year there was support added to the feeder cattle market. Cattle feeders are feeling better for the prospects of the coming months for the fat market and were willing to give more to get cattle bought.
