Feeder heifers under 700 lbs steady to 2.00 lower, over 700 lbs 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Moderate to good demand, best demand remains centered on a light fleshed steer under 700 lbs. The bearish turn of the CME Live Cattle futures contracts has added a lot of pressure to the market. Cattle feeders are feeling very defensive about the coming months in the cash fed cattle market as the board has rolled back considerably the last two weeks.
