Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 4.00 to 5.00 higher, boning type slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher, while slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers were mostly 6.00 to 7.00 lower, heifers were mostly 3.00 to 4.00 lower, and feeder bulls were mostly 5.00 to 6.00 lower. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were mostly moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate to light due to early week inclement weather. Cattle quality was mostly average. Baby calves ranged 60.00 to 130.00 per head; "by the head" calves were 105.00 to 350.00 per head.
