Current hog receipts 3.

Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers were mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher; while heifers were mostly 4.00 to 7.00 lower; and feeder bulls were unevenly steady. Demand was moderate to good; market activity and buyer interest were mostly moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was mostly average. Baby calves ranged 20.00 to 140.00 per head; "by the head" calves were 80.00 to 150.00.
