Report incudes Carolina Stockyards in Siler City, NC for Friday, November 20, 2020 and Monday, November 23, 2020 and Harward Brothers Livestock Market in Turnersburg, NC for Monday, November 23, 2020. All other markets were closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. All sales and market coverage are expected to resume on Monday, November 30, 2020.

Compared to last week, slaughter cows were steady to 3.00 lower, while bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers were steady to 3.00 higher; heifers mostly 10.00 to 13.00 higher; while feeder bulls were unevenly steady. Demand was fairly light to moderate; market activity and buyer interest were fairly slow to moderate. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was plain to average. Baby calves ranged 5.00 to 25.00 per head.
