Compared to last week: Only two sales were held last week due to summer schedules. Offerings were too lightly tested to develop an accurate market trend, however higher undertones were noticed. Quality was mostly average this week. Demand for feeders was mostly good, despite limited offerings. Market activity was mostly active this week. Weigh up cows comprised most of the offering this week. Demand from western packers remains good and they continue to purchase cattle for immediate harvest. Slaughter cows sold generally steady. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-3.00 lower. Feeding cows sold steady. Weigh up conditions were mixed this week. Cow and bull quality continues to be mostly attractive to very attractive. Young age cows suitable to feed or rebreed sold generally steady. Quality was mostly average.
