Demand was moderate to good with best interest for weaned and preconditioned packages. Yearling steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher with moderate to good demand. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 4.00 lower and slaughter bulls were mostly steady with moderate to good demand for slaughter classes. Concerns over severe storms with heavy rain, high winds and flooding which hit portions of the state at the end of the week affected the movement of cattle to the markets.
