Compared to two weeks ago, steers under 700 lbs sold 20.00 to 25.00 higher; over 700 lbs sold 10.00 to 15.00 higher. Heifers sold 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold uneven; Boning Utility steady to 2.00 higher, while Breaking and Lean cows were steady to 2.00 lower.. Kansas negotiated fed cattle sales sold mostly 5.00 higher at 245.00. In the hay market, Much of the state experienced warmer temperatures and increased sunshine last week, providing a welcome improvement in conditions. Interest in hay varied across regions, with some areas reporting increased inquiries, though no notable changes in pricing or movement were observed. However, some parts of the state have seen an increase in grass hay movement, as many producers burned through supplies during the recent cold snap.
