Compared to last week, feeder steers under 600 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher; 600 to 700 lbs 1.00 to 2.00 lower; over 700 lbs 2.00 to 8.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs sold 6.00 to 7.00 higher; 500 to 700 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 lower; over 700 lbs 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold uneven; 1.00 lower to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold steady to 3.00 lower. Demand was good. Compared to last week, fed slaughter steers and heifers in the feedyards sold 1.00 lower at 137.00. Compared to the last report, overall alfalfa and grass hay were mostly steady and movement remains slow.
