A winter storm impacted parts of northern Georgia early in the week. The storm brought extreme cold and ice that hampered livestock movement and led many barns to cancel sales for this week. Compared to last week: With limited sales; Slaughter cows and bulls sold sharply higher. Feeder classes sold 2.00 to 10.00 higher. Replacement cows mostly steady. Year date receipts totaled 25,071 compared to 29,634 a year ago.
