Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 2 Colorado auction markets included: La Junta Livestock and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand Moderate to Very Good. Feeder steers under 400 lbs sold mostly sharply higher on a light test, 400-700 lbs 9.00 to 12.00 higher with instances of sharply higher, and over 700 lbs 1.00 to 3.00 higher with instances of sharply higher. Feeder heifers under 450 lbs sold 9.00 to 10.00 higher with instances of sharply higher on a light test, 450-550 lbs 7.00 to 11.00 lower, and over 550 lbs mostly 3.00 higher with instances of 4.00 to 6.00 higher on a light test. Trade was mixed this week on average dressing slaughter cows with Boners and Breakers selling 3.00 to 5.00 lower and Lean cows selling 9.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter bulls sold 5.00 higher.
