Compared to last week, Steers under 450lbs were 9.00 to 11.00 lower on a light test, 450lb to 600lb were steady to 13.00 higher, 600lb to 750lb were 18-20 higher, while heifers 400lb to 600lb sold 6.00 to 16.00 higher, 600lb to 750lb sold mostly 1.00 to 10.00 higher with some instances of sharply higher on limited comparisons with last week's light receipts of feeder cattle. Trade activity and demand was good to very good. Average dressing slaughter cows were mostly steady to 3.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter bulls sold steady.
