Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, Sterling Livestock Commission and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Feeder steers under 400 lbs sold 12.00 to 25.00 higher with instances of sharply higher. Steers weighing 450-600 lbs sold 2.00 to 10.00 higher and steers weighing 850-1000 lbs sold 3.00 to 11.00 higher All other weight classes of steers were too thinly tested to trend. Feeder heifers under 450 lbs sold 8.00 higher to 22.00 higher, while 650-6000 lb heifers sold 10.00 to 16.00 lower. All other weight classes of feeder heifers were too thinly tested to trend. Dairy feeder heifers over 900 lbs sold mostly steady on a light test. Average dressing slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher; average dressing slaughter bulls sold 11.00 lower.
