Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 3 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Feeder steers udner 450 lbs sold sharply higher on a light test, 450-650 lbs 11.00 to 18.00 higher, and over 650 lbs mostly 5.00 to 8.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 400 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower on a light test, 400-600 lbs 7.00 to 12.00 higher, and over 600 lbs steady to 6.00 higher. Feeder dairy heifers over 950 lbs sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows sold 7.00 to 8.00 higher; average dressing slaughter bulls 1.00 higher.
