Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 1 Colorado auction market included: Livestock Exchange. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower, while slaughter bulls sold 1.00 higher. Feeding cows sold steady to 7.00 lower on a light test. Feeder dairy heifers sold steady to 2.00 lower. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Colorado auction markets across the state will be starting the fall run of calves the first week of September, with most barns hosting a sale every other week through the month. They will move to a sale every week starting the 1st week of October.
