Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 3 Colorado auction markets included: La Junta Livestock, Sterling Livestock and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Feeder cattle too thinly traded from the prior week for an accurate trend, but buyers are indicating that premiums will be paid for long weaned, vaccinated calves. Average dressing slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower, bulls sold 7.00 lower. The next available report will be Monday, September 19, 2022.
