Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 5 Colorado auction markets included: Centennial Livestock Auction (Stock Show Special), Winter Livestock Auction, La Junta Livestock, Livestock Exchange ( bred cow special and Stock Show Special), Sterling Livestock (Stock Show Special). Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Feeder steers under 300 lbs traded 1.00 higher, 300-850 lbs 1.00 to 5.00 lower with instances of sharply lower on 500-550 lb steers, and over 850 lbs steady to 1.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs traded steady to 6.00 higher, and over 500 lbs steady to 6.00 lower. In the slaughter cow and bull supply, average dressing Breakers traded 3.00 higher, average dressing Boners 1.00 lower, average dressing Leans 1.00 higher, and average dressing Bulls 3.00 lower.
