Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction markets included: Livestock Exchange, Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Sterling Livestock. Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Feeder steers under 500 lbs mostly 1.00 to 4.00 lower, 500-600 lbs 1.00 to 4.00 higher, and steers over 600 lbs mixed, trading mostly 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers across all weight classes traded mostly 1.00 to 6.00 higher. In the slaughter cows and bulls supply, average dressing Breakers traded 1.00 higher, average dressing Boners 1.00 higher, average dressing Leans 1.00 lower, and average dressing Bulls 2.00 lower. A large portion of this week's offering of slaughter cows will be put back on feed. The next available report will be Friday, October, 9, 2020.
