Compared to last week: Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auctions included: Livestock Exchange, Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Sterling Livestock Commission Co.. Feeder steers under 550 lbs traded 7.00 to 8.00 higher, 550-850 lbs steady to 3.00 higher, and over 850 lbs 6.00 lower on a light test. Feeder heifers under 650 lbs were mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher with instances of sharply higher on heifers under 500 lbs, and heifers over 650 lbs traded 5.00 to 7.00 lower with instances of sharply lower on heifers over 800 lbs.
