Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Calves with spring and fall shots and a 30-45+ day wean are highly sought after. Those without are receiving heavy discounts. Buyers are also heavily competing for yearlings. Feeder steers under 500 lbs traded unevenly steady with instances of 5.00 higher on 400-450 lb steers, and over 500 lbs mixed from 3.00 lower to 2.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 850 lbs traded 1.00 to 7.00 higher and over 850 lbs were too lightly tested to trend. The next available report will be Friday, November 29, 2019.
