Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers under 600 lbs were mostly 6.00-12.00 higher with instances of sharply higher; over 600 bs mostly 5.00-7.00 higher. Demand for feeder classes was very good, with the best demand noted for lightweight feeder cattle as the green grass of spring approaches and grazing season nears. Slaughter cows were mostly 3.00-5.00 higher, and slaughter bulls mostly steady.
