Compared to last weeks close: Feeder and Stocker cattle closed the week mostly 6.00-10.00 lower. Slaughter cows closed steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls closed 2.00-3.00 lower. Higher temperatures and increased heat index placed a damper on livestock movement this week which decreased auction receipts. Additionally, demand was moderate at best for feeder and stocker cattle this week due to the volatility in the CME futures.
