Compared to last Wednesday's sale, alfalfa and alfalfa/grass blended hay sold 10.00-30.00 higher with good demand. Grass hays sold mostly 15.00-30.00 lower with exception of Premium quality grass hays trending 10.00 higher. Straw sold 20.00 lower on average, despite the market topping out at the same price as the previous week. Corn fodder sold 35.00 higher on a light test. A large range in quality this week as producers work to clean out the remainder of 2024 hay supplies. There has been an uptick in loads of mixed cuts or classes. All prices per ton unless otherwise noted.
