Marked showed a stabilizing trend today. With a wet start to putting up hay this year, and realizing quality hay might be a struggle to find or produce this year, hay prices were higher than expected. Good grass (new crop) hay 4x5 bales 65-70/ bale figuring 150-ton. 4x6 fescue 1100lb bales 67.50-80, 130-150/ton. Carryover hay figured 15-20/bale less than new crop. Alfalfa, dairy hay new 1st cut 3x4 bales 200/bale (300/ton). 3x3 alfalfa 600lb 140/bale 400+/ton. Bleached alfalfa cow hay figured 250/ton.
