As filedSupply was light on round bales, and demand was mixed. Moderate to heavy rainfall the last 2 weeks brought a lot of optimism for this years hay crop. Round bales saw a sharp decrease in value, some cases down 50% from last reported sale. On the bright side large square market held steady. While there wasn't any extreme tops of $500/ton grass hay this month, sales did find a balance with excellent horse quality grass hay staying steady throughout the sale between $300-400/ton.
