As filedCompared to last week the auction saw generally lower quality hay. A lot of hay that had some moisture after it was baled due to recent rainfall, and some of the 2nd cutting alfalfa had also been rained on. Some hay was sold $5-10 lower compared to last week, and the rest of the hay was lower quality. Grass sold generally steady and the new straw was of good quality and sold moderately better but didn't see not much interest. Alfalfa 53%; Grass 35%; Wheat 6%; Corn Stalk 6%.
