Compared to last week there was a very strong demand for hay due to hot and dry conditions. New Alfalfa quality was very good, along with the new grass and mixed hay which was also in very good condition. The old grass hay quality was poor. Alfalfa 34%; Grass 46%; Alfalfa/Grass Mix 9%; Oat 3%; Corn Stalk 6%; Wheat 2%.
