Average attendance and very slow trade for today's Board Sale. 1300 head over 19 lots, 6 of which were no sales. Much higher-than-average rainfall in N. central West Virginia with abundant water and pasture for the season. Market conditions weakening over the past month, following the current national cash and futures trends affecting buyer confidence. Steers, $9-$30 per cwt lower than last with the lighter end of the run holding somewhat firmer than the heavy end; Feeder Heifers $20 per cwt lower. Average weights virtually spot on with last sale. Most lots reported as 80-90% or more listed as #1 muscled cattle.
