Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Tuesday sale with a Special calf and Yearling offering; slaughter bulls mostly steady, mostly stock cows with higher overtones noted, with too few slaughter cows to report or compare to. Several bred cows packages mostly aged and middle aged steady to instances higher overtone noted with good demand. Few yearling steers with higher overtones noted, not enough yearling heifers for a good market test. Feeder calves unevenly tested with steers 500 lb lower undertones lower, 600 lbs higher overtones noted. Lite offering of heifers lower undertones, with package 590 lbs 20.00 higher. Demand good with good buyer participation. Starting next week calves and yearlings on Tuesday with cows and bulls starting Friday sales.
