Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week; no trend on yearlings with very few receipts. Steer and heifer calves under 500 lbs traded steady to 5.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves over 500 lbs traded 8.00 to 20.00 lower and sharply lower on some package trade. Most of the offering carrying spring and fall shots. Moderate bidding throughout the day with most buyers not as active with pressure coming from limit down on the CME futures. Sale again next Wednesday.
