Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week; steer and heifer calves sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower on a lighter test than last week. Better demand for lighter flesh cattle green enough to go to grass. Throughout the day demand was moderate with the CME futures being lower with the price of corn rising early in the week.
