Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week; steer calves under 700 lbs traded steady with a few instances 2.00 higher. Steer calves over 700 lbs traded 3.00 to 6.00 higher. Heifer calves weighing 700 lbs sold 1.00 higher compared to last week with all other classes of heifers selling steady to last week. Nice offering of all classes of cattle. With moisture in the region cattle green enough to go to grass are in high demand along with bigger cattle with the CME futures being higher.
